I am a senior at the University of Alabama majoring in Criminal Justice.  I was recently informed about what happened to you in Oakland, CA by my professor, Christine Ivie Edge.  Ms. Edge dedicated a segment of our class lecture to educating us this topic.  I too, am from Oakland, CA and had not heard about this situation.  I hope your recovery is fast and I will continue to keep you in my prayers and your family as well.
